Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Julio A. Rodriguez was born and raised in Miami, FL. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After completing postgraduate residencies in hospital dentistry, implants and anesthesiology he started Dental Arts of Sunset, a family-owned and operated a private practice in his hometown of Miami, FL.

Jose became a Dental Assistant in December 2022. He obtained his certification with Brittin Dental Assisting and joined the Dental Arts Family in December 2022. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences in 2022. He is passionate about Dentistry and wants to become a Dentist in the future. Jose likes to play video games and soccer with friends in his free time and spend time with his family.

Arlette is Miami native and has been in the dental field since 2001. Watching Arlette work is like watching a busy bee moving from room to room making sure that every patient has a comfortable experience from start to finish. She is also certified as an anesthesiologist assistant and works with Dr. Rodriguez in all his sedations. Arlette has been happily married for 23 years and has three beautiful children.

Kayley became a dental assistant in 2020 after she completed the Brittin Dental Assisting Program in Coral Gables and is now an instructor for the same program. She also has furthered her skill set by becoming a certified phlebotomist. Her kind and compassionate spirit helps patients feel comfortable in the chair while her background in childcare and early education makes her an asset in creating a wonderful first dental experience for children in our office. Kayley is originally from Columbus Ohio and moved to Miami in 2019. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, going on long walks with her dog, Mufasa, and going out with friends.

Diana has been with Dental Arts of Sunset since 1998 when she earned her expanded duties dental assisting certificate. She brings a wealth of experience and her friendly demeanor to all of our patient’s. When she’s not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer has been a hygienist for over thirteen years. She graduated from Miami Dade College with an associate in science in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and joined the Dental Arts Family in 2013. Helping our patients overcome their dental anxiety, establishing good oral habits, and providing thorough but gentle care are some of the things she is most passionate about. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and trying out new recipes.
